The Polish Vending Association (PSV) is the only national association in Poland, gathering firms, companies and businessmen managing activities in vending. Our office is located in Warsaw.
PSV is a member of the European Vending Association (EVA). It consists 55 Ordinary Members and 16 Supporting Members /as of Feb. 2008/. We actively and effectively work to increase these numbers and potential.
PSV's main tasks include:
- Promotion of "vending" and related terminology in Poland;
- Defining common problems and aiding our members with solving them;
- Representing Polish vending society before the state / administrative institutions and abroad;
- Sending analyses, information and comments on law affecting Polish vending to our members (PSV's Newsletter sent via e-mail on a daily basis; full text in Polish, abstracts in English);
- Monitoring and providing information on vending in other countries, especially those which are members of the European Union, neighbouring countries, etc.
Other benefits of membership in the PSV are uncountable, i.e.:
- Presence in Polish vending society;
- Access to knowledge and key players in Polish market;
- Influence on creating main directions of PSV's activities;
- Participation in elections of the leadership of the Polish Vending Association;
- Easy access to different conferences and training on vending.
A new leadership of the Polish Vending Association was elected on May 9, 2007, during the General Assembly. Mr. Michal Piotrowiak was elected the President of the Board of Directors of the Polish Vending Association. Mr. Grzegorz Chmielewski, Mr. Dariusz Niemczynowski, Mr. Witold Szafran and Mr. Orestes Zukowski were elected Members of the Board of Directors of the PSV. There were elected new members of the Control Board and the Fellow-Workers Arbitration, too. The Statute of the Association defines a three-year term of office unless the General Assembly states otherwise.
Members of the PSV accepted the job performed by the previous Board, thanking its members for their hard work and efforts.
The third edition of the International Vending Exhibition - VENDING POLAND 2008 is scheduled for 25 - 26 September 2008 at the EXPO XXI Centre in Warsaw. The host of the event is the Polish Vending Association. VENDING POLAND has been developed in response to growing social and economic demand and expanding needs of the vending industry within Poland and our region of Europe. The Warsaw Exhibition gives the companies a unique opportunity to enter this dynamic market at a pivotal moment in the region's trading history. Our exhibitors, including not only the sector's key players but also smaller and mid-sized companies with specialized product ranges, stress the importance of the visitors' expertise and international character of the event. What's more, the exhibitors can expect that their contacts at the trade fair will lead directly to the lucrative follow-up enterprises.
Never before so many international leading suppliers of domestic and industrial installations have been brought together with the decision-makers for this exciting and innovative exhibition.
Last edition of the exhibition held in 2006 hosted around 50 exhibitors, over 600 visitors, and included an equal split of Polish and international participants. We are sure, these numbers will significantly increase during this edition of the exhibition. All necessary details regarding the 2008 VENDING POLAND Exhibition will be available at the PSV's internet website very shortly.
